Doggy collage

I whiped out the paints last night and got a bit creative. I saw this little doggy in a magazine and had to paint him. I’m actually more of a cat person, but this little guy was too cute. It is a mixed media collage/painting on paper. Using acrylic paints.

i haven’t painted in ages, so it was nice to be able to be creative in real life, instead of some photoshop creation

(which i personally consider as cheating when it comes to “painting” because it doesn’t really require that much skill, just a few cool brushes and textures and an artistic layer or two. Mind you that doesn’t stop me from doing it. lol)

Not much going on today. i am waiting for my shopping to be delivered (God Bless Coles online )

However i remembered that i forgot to order milk, and i ran out this morning, so once he comes i’ll have to go down to the shops anyway. But at least i only have to get one or two things and not the whole weeks worth.

high: got to sleep in till 9:30 this morning! And we got paid today.

low: 90% of the pay has already been spent on various bills and food…
